Senior Analyst, SMA Investment Operations - Nuveen

Nuveen is seeking an Investment Analyst for the Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) Client Onboarding Team. This position's duties include onboarding new client accounts and then supporting the portfolio throughout its investment life cycle with Nuveen. The position is actively engaged with Nuveen's largest clients and in supporting its internal Sales and Client Service Teams. This is an excellent entry point to a career in Financial Services.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Interpret various inbound documents including investment management agreements, strategy changes, etc.
• Input data into various systems including workflow software and portfolio accounting and trading systems (APL).
• Work with internal teams to onboard new client accounts.
• Facilitate client-directed changes to existing portfolios (e.g., registration changes, security restriction requests, terminations, etc.).
• Monitor account exception reports to identify potential risk outliers.

• Undergraduate degree
• General understanding of financial markets
• Solid problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative and critically analyze processes
• Detail oriented and extremely thorough - having the confidence to ensure work processes are completed accurately
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Naturally inquisitive
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Base Pay Range: $26.14/hr. - $43.57/hr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
