Senior Analyst, Technology Risk

The Role

As part of the Second Line of Defense, the Senior Analyst, Technology Risk will work with the risk department and across the Technology Division to ensure that technology risks are properly identified, assessed, monitored, and communicated in support of the overall Technology Risk Management program and Enterprise Risk and Resilience Framework. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of technology risk management program and capabilities. The Senior Analyst, Technology Risk will be an integral part of the Technology Risk Management team and will report to the Global Head of Technology Risk.

How You’ll Help Take Us There

• Assist first line in conducting RCSAs across various technology domains
• Assist first line with technology compliance assessments (i.e. SOC2)
• Discuss findings and observations with stakeholders and assist with monitoring of remediation of issues to ensure action plans are developed and completed
• Assist with evaluating end-to-end technology processes to help identify and manage risk
• Assist in analyzing operational risk related data, key indicators, and develop risk reports for senior management
• Provide oversight and challenge first line on the integration of technology standards and policies
• Influence and challenge existing and evolving enterprise software development standards
• Assist with development of technology risk standards and policies, where applicable
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking for  

• 3+ years of experience in Technology Risk and Control Identification, Analysis, Response, and Reporting
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Solid understanding of the Technology and Operations Risk Management principles and governance framework
• Understanding / experience with Technology / Technology-related Risk and Control Frameworks (COSO, COBIT, NIST, ITIL, Cloud Control, etc.)
• Understanding and demonstrable experience in end-to-end IT Risk Assessments of Systems and technology processes
• Understanding and demonstrable experience in risk and control self-assessments (RCSA) and compliance assessments (i.e. SOC2)
• Excellent reasoning and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and ability to influence
• Broad knowledge around DevOps, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Cloud Computing and Operations
• Ability to build strong relationships across teams and disciplines
• Manage multiple priorities and adjusts to changing priorities
• Strong communication skills, including communication of technical information to various stakeholders

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $70,000 USD to $90,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
