Job Description
Torch is seeking an experienced Analyst/Systems Engineer to review and analyze Software/Hardware-in-the-Loop (S/HWIL) test data results in support of Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) systems. As part of the Government Systems Integration Laboratory (GSIL) Systems Engineering and Analysis Team, you'll be working in a dynamic environment where you will apply your engineering knowledge and experience to meet new and different challenges head-on.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop analysis plans and methods in support of test requirements
- Analyze test data and assist in determining success of test metrics
- Use analytical tools to verify system/component performance to design requirements
- Use analytical tools to validate simulation models to real-world data
- Create documentation and/or present analysis findings and recommendations to the team and customer
- Provide input on needed software changes as indicated by analysis
Job Requirements
Required Skills/Experience
- Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Analysis of simulation and live mission data
- Ability to read and understand design documents and Interface Control Diagrams (ICDs)
- Preparing and publishing reports/documents
- Proficiency in written/verbal communication
Desired Skills/Experience
- Linux experience
- Link-16 experience
- Matlabยฎ and/or Python coding to support data analysis
- Radar system experience
- Launcher and interceptor experience
- Command and Control experience
- Working with Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS)
- Verification and validation of simulation models
- Experience with Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD)
Education: Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
