Transamerica ALM and Hedging is looking for a Middle-Office Professional to lead the Middle Office team. The team works closely with front office and strategy team to support various derivative hedge programs within the company.

Responsibility
  • Responsible for trade review, trade confirm, and resolving trade discrepancies. Ensuring that all trades are booked and confirmed as intended. Resolve potential issues; escalate as appropriate.
  • Liaise between trading desk, counterparties, compliance and settlement.
  • Perform reconciliation between front-office and back-office ledger/system.
  • Partner with front office/strategy team/technology team to help identify system/technology improvement opportunities.
  • Improve processes to increase reliability and accuracy of results.
  • Monitoring and adhere to daily work flow queues and ensure work is completed daily and within SLA.
  • Assist audit partners by providing requested documentation and information as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ year experience in Middle Office/Trade Control/Trading Assistant
  • Operational understanding of derivatives
  • Experience with Murex, ClearWater, BlackRock Aladdin is a plus
