The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Analytics Product Manager to join our growing team based out of our Pittsburgh, PA, office. The Senior Analytics Product Manager will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Platform Product Management, who will strategically and tactically manage our products.
The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. The successful product manager will work day-in, day-out with the rest of the organization as the product owner - defining and iterating the product plan as you go, solving problems as they pop up, and closely managing the product to achieve superior results. The product manager must have the ability to learn quickly and adjust product plans while ensuring a long-term product vision.
You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with the engineering team to define product release requirements, customer support to understand customer feedback and issues, sales and marketing to define the go-to-market strategy and product positioning, and the management team to assist in developing product strategy, vision, and roadmaps. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, working with the sales team, channel partners, and key customers and presenting at customer meetings, conferences, and trade events.

As a Product Manager in this space, you partner closely with data and ML Platform and application engineers, product managers, technical program managers, and designers to build end-to-end data pipelines and platforms to enable scalable performant usage of data across our systems.

The hiring range for this position is typically:
117,000.00 - 146,000.00 USD

Your day to day
- Solve interesting problems every day - we work to create security awareness and training solutions for scale and complexity, providing value to the customer.
- Prioritize the product backlog and refine requirements by working closely with the UX and engineering teams
- Drive customer adoption, receive and internally share customer feedback on features
- Managing product life cycles from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed through techniques such as Jobs To be Done and Test and Learn
- Gather, analyze, and report on crucial product success metrics that drive usage of your products
- Identify opportunities to innovate and improve our features and capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate user motives and champion customer needs.
- Drive new product development and existing product release activities across the organization (primarily development/engineering, QA, customer support, and marketing) through market requirements and positioning.
- Driving a solution set across engineering teams via Product Manager role within Agile Scrum framework.
- Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
Specific to this role
As a Product Manager in this space, you partner closely with data and ML Platform and application engineers, product managers, technical program managers, and designers to build end-to-end data pipelines and platforms to enable scalable performant usage of data across our systems.
- Experience working with one or more COTS data platforms such as Tableau, Qlik, Lookr, Quicksight, etc
- Experience with and understanding the complexities of
- streaming data system
- structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data
- data lakes, marts, and warehouses
- data pipelines for supporting real-time, near real-time, and data science customers
- Tradeoffs between systems that support robust and eventual consistency
- Experience in machine learning model development and related platforms.
- Experience with data-intensive platforms and systems that depend on large-scale infrastructure. AWS services expertise is a plus. • Experience building complex, distributed systems to enable enterprise workflows.
- Must have focus on analytical applications defining metrics in the big data environment
- Strong analytical abilities
- Strong querying skills and data visualization
- Incorporate data, research, and market analysis to inform product requirements, strategies, and roadmaps.
- Provide product management leadership for our BI and Data Engineering teams, including features, capabilities, data pipelines, APIs, and integrations
- Experience working with Data Architects, engineers and be able to contribute to the discussion in designing the data models
- Proficiency with SQL and any BI tools is preferred.

- Experience in creating strategic product roadmaps from conception to launch
- Experience in leading the product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions
- Experience in moving a legacy product/feature to more modern technologies
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to launch new features, test their performance, and iterate quickly
- Experience working in a cross-collaborative team environment that thrives on velocity
