Senior AP Accountant

Two Six Technologies is hiring for a Senior AP Accountant. Individuals seeking a challenging, multi-
faceted role in a fast-paced work environment will enjoy the diverse responsibilities of this key position
on the Finance team.

This role will primarily involve Accounting Operations largely comprised of Accounts Payable (A/P),
including A/P transactional preparation, tracking, and system entry. Additionally, this individual will
interact with contracts, payroll and billing team members, and management to complete task objectives
and meet various business deadlines. Finally, this individual will play an integral part in helping the
Accounting Operations meet its objectives.

Responsibilities Include:

• Participate in the day-to-day finance and accounting operations
• Process vendor A/P and expense voucher transactions
• Maintain all vendor accounts and records
• Prepare vendor bill payments
• Process company credit card voucher transactions and perform audit reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of journal entries as needed
• Assist during the internal and external auditing process
• Assist Accounting staff and Management in the month-end accounting close process
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties to support the Finance Team as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience with Deltek Costpoint or Unanet
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or in a related field
• 1-3 years of professional experience in an accounting or financial analyst role
• Understanding of general accounting theories, principles, and practices
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a fast pace, high-performance company environment
• Must be a highly organized self-starter and be able to operate independently
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Nice to haves:

• Experience working at an accounting Audit or Consulting Firm, Government Contractor, or DCAA
• Working knowledge of cost classification, cost allowability, and or indirect cost accounting structures
