Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting the Account Payable functions including, the entry of supplier invoices, the processing of payments (including electronic and manual), and the reconciliation of the AP balances in the general ledger and bank accounts. Includes responsibility for the invoice front end scanning and processing system and travel expense reimbursement system. Build a strong relationship with the AP Specialists, provide guidance and support, monitor current priorities
  • Analyze AP aging on a regular basis to keep clean and up to date
  • Partner with Purchasing to provide support and work on the improvement of the full procure-to-pay process cycle
  • Assist in projects as needed
  • Participate and oversee Accounts Payable projects and opportunities as assigned
  • Perform annual 1099 and 1042 tax filling
  • Responsible for daily cash pool bank reconciliation
  • Review new supplier documentation for accuracy and compliance with company policy and IRS regulations
  • Provide audit support on all annual financial audit requests as it relates to AP and cash
  • Perform account payable services for other Freudenberg companies in the North America region
  • Maintain KPI's and provide monthly reporting

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in accounting or other business related field
  • Minimum of 2+ years in Accounts Payable functions
  • Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles
  • Must have experience with SAP or similar ERP system for a similar sized company
  • Strong computer and business solutions software skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Direct experience with AP systems, including automated processes for invoice processing, expense reports and bank payments
