Senior APIM Product Marketing Manager - API Management

How You'll Make An Impact:

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for crafting and executing marketing strategies for Boomi’s API Management solution. This role requires a deep understanding of the API Management domain, and the ideal candidate will have extensive product marketing experience working for an API Management vendor or a platform vendor that provides API Management solutions. This role demands a strategic, results-driven professional who will spearhead our product marketing efforts, solidify our market presence, and drive the adoption of our products through innovative marketing strategies.

What you’ll do:

- Craft compelling product messaging and positioning that clearly differentiates our offerings in the marketplace.

- Lead the development and execution of in-depth marketing strategies to promote the adoption and use of our API Management solutions.

- Work together with product management to drive launches and act as the voice of the buyer to help influence roadmap decisions. 

- Produce engaging and informative marketing content, including case studies, product demos, white papers, and blog posts that communicate the value proposition of our products.

- Support sales enablement

- Collaborate with various stakeholders to implement marketing campaigns that effectively reach target audiences and achieve business goals.

- Regularly analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, adjust strategies as needed, and report on progress. 

- Conduct competitive analysis and keep abreast of API management industry developments to ensure our marketing strategies and activities are relevant and impactful.

- Present at customer-facing physical events and webinars as a subject matter expert. 

The Experience You Bring

- Deep understanding of API technologies and the API lifecycle is highly desirable.

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.

- Minimum 10 years of experience in product marketing, with extensive experience in marketing API management solutions or similar technology products.

- Demonstrated success in developing marketing strategies and executing successful product launches.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize market data into actionable marketing initiatives.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories and articulate complex technical details in a clear, concise manner.

- Experience creating a wide range of marketing content, including digital content and detailed technical documents.

- Creative and strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns

- Ability to work collaboratively across teams, including product management, sales, and customer success

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base compensation for this position ranges from 181,000 CAD annually + applicable bonus. Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
