Senior Application Development Engineer- Remote

Position Purpose: This position will be focused on projects in Enrollment and Broker Applications on web design team. build, test and maintain scalable and stable off the shelf application or custom built technology solutions to meet business needs. Act as a subject matter expert for Application Software developers and Engineers.
• Contribute to the entire implementation process including driving the definition of improvements based on business need and architectural improvements• Meet with business partners to understand business needs• Responsible for overall design of the solution• Design, build and test applications• Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality
Attend Agile Scrum Meetings
Develop New features in Web Applications, Resolve Production Issues,
Mentor Junior Developers
Help in On-boarding New Developers, etc.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of related experience. Healthcare experience strongly preferred, requires demonstrated understanding of business process as it relates to experience in the field. Advanced knowledge of Agile methodology (required). Experienced in workflow design, configuration and process development, must understand business process concepts (required). Advanced knowledge of and experience with JavaScript or TypeScript. Expert knowledge in Web development using REACT, Node.JS, Java, JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Experienced in workflow design, configuration and process development, must understand business process concepts. Strong understanding of APIs. Experience with database strongly preferred. Advanced understanding of IT processes and disciplines (e.g. software development, operations, and infrastructure).
