DUTIES:

• Design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable off the shelf software applications or custom-built technology solutions to meet business needs utilizing Golang, Node Js, Java, Mongo, Kubernetes and Kafka. • Act as a subject matter expert for Application Software Developers and Engineers. • Contribute to the entire software implementation process, including driving the definition of improvements based on business needs and architectural improvements. • Work in a fast pace agile environment and participate in all Standups and ceremonies and help ensure junior developers are following the process and mentor as needed. • Develop and maintain CICD pipelines to deploy code to multiple environments on a Kubernetes Platform. • Mentor others on team the proper way to build and deploy leveraging Gitlab, Harness, Artifactory, Kubernetes/Docker and other tools. • Create FHIR Solutions utilizing SMILE CDR and Kafka to integrate between vendors utilizing FHIR Bundles and with Centene Systems. • Meet with business partners and internal and external technical partners to understand technical business needs. • Responsible for the overall design of software solutions. • Mentor Junior developers, interns, BSAs and other developers on all aspects of our SDLC process, for both new and existing projects. • Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality. • Communicate to leadership and product team for status updates and any blockers preventing meeting committed deliverables. • Position reports to headquarters at 7700 Forsyth Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63105 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. • Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering or related, and 4 years of relevant work experience.

In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) Utilizing at least two of the following to develop software applications and technology solutions: Golang, Node JS, Json, Java Script, or Java; (2) Using Microservice Architecture with knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes to deploy APIs; (3) Using Mongo DB to store and access data, communicate to it from a Microservice, design and implement the data model, and optimize as needed or using Kafka to create topics to publish or consumers to ingest topics from; (4) Deploying and maintaining CI/CD and leveraging deployment tools including Gitlab, Harness, and Jenkins; (5) Working on an Agile development team and participating in Agile processes and ceremonies; and (6) Using at least one of the following unit testing frameworks: Junit, Mockito, mocha, chai, or golang and using at least two of the following monitoring tools: Elkstack, Promethius, or Dynatrace.
