Job Description
Apex.AI is seeking talented Application Engineers to develop applications together with our product teams and our global customers. Your work will create solutions based on our products that address concrete needs. This team is looking for strong C++ developers to bolster our software development efforts.

You will develop, deploy, and support software and provide support to local, domestic, and international customers while cooperating closely with our internal development team to create a quality product. In addition, you will have various opportunities to contribute features to the core products. You will gain deep technical knowledge about Apex.OS and Apex.Middleware. If you love to code in C++ and enjoy working with others, this is the perfect role for you!Â

This role is located in our Palo Alto office, with the expectation that you will be in the office a minimum of 3 days/week. Authorization to work in the United States is required.Â
What you'll do
- Apply your excellent problem-solving and C++ development skills toward developing functions, applications, and solutions for mobility and smart machine applications
- Roll out Apex.AI software to customers and provide technical supportÂ
In order to be successful in the role, you must have
- A B.S, or higher degree, in a technical field
- 5+ years of C++ software development experience
- Software and embedded system experience
- Proficient presentation and communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Experience with git, GitLab, or similar tools
- Be self-motivated and comfortable operating without direct supervision
It would be nice if you also had
- Experience in relevant domains, such as automotive, aerospace, or industrial
- Understanding of OS and network concepts (UDP, Multicast, etc.), messaging systems (DDS, ROS, etc.) or real-time systems or automotive software architectures (such as AUTOSAR)Â
- Previous experience in technical professional services or salesÂ
- Customer training experienceÂ
- Experience with Bazel or CMakeÂ
Compensation
- The base salary range is $134,000 to $190,000/year.
- Equity, benefits, and a variable bonus may be provided as part of the total compensation package. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The exact salary will depend on multiple factors, including the candidate's skills, experience, and other qualifications.
