Responsibilities

Humana, Inc seeks Senior Application Engineer in Louisville, KY.

Duties: Design and develop IT applications architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. Responsible for moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Perform technical planning, architecture development, and modification of specifications. Develop specifications for new products and services, applications, and service offerings. Assess the compatibility and integration of products and services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent applications. Influence the department's strategy. Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. 100% telecommuting permitted within the U.S.

The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 7 years of experience in related roles.

This position requires 4 years of experience in each of the following:
• .NET C#;
• Microsoft SQL Server; and
• Analysis and Design.

This position requires 2 years of experience in mentoring or leadership.

This position requires 1 year of experience in Azure DevOps.
