Senior Application Manager (Kurtkoy, Onsite, English, Helpdesk, GxP)

We are looking for an Innovation Specialist to support our key projects designing innovation tools, training and experiences.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assisting in the migration of local applications in accordance with the IT group strategy through group standard solutions
• Engaging application delivery teams and proposing solutions that align with the IT strategy and Long Range plan, including budget responsibility
• Leading IT projects with internal and external parties
• Managing information technology and computer systems, including providing application support
• Supporting computers for qualification according to defined strategy
• User administration and supporting the deployment of new tools
• Reporting periodically on IT and application performance
• Maintaining regular contacts and cooperation with software providers
• Providing business continuity and disaster recovery of the company's infrastructures and information systems, including analysis, design, planning, and implementation
• Managing relationships with stakeholders at local & regional levels, as well as with global IT support organizations
• Adhering to internal IT standards, methods, and strategies
• Engaging with local business representatives to shape business requirements and support appropriate technology teams to translate them into new solutions, system enhancements, or process changes, delivering data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency and add value
• Leading and participating in the implementation, enhancement, and roll-out of projects to ensure operational requirements are met, and the system is adopted by the local organization to add value
• Coordinating and monitoring technical queries/issues/incidents raised; managing the escalations with appropriate technology groups
• Ensuring operations are running without major incidents and supporting problem and incident resolutions by close collaboration with the Service Desk and next level support
• Providing appropriate application support services and ensuring that operational requirements are met
• Supporting the alignment with local infrastructure following global standards
• Providing hands-on support in daily IT operational activities
• Supporting the maintenance of the validation of GxP-relevant systems (IQ preparation, execution, etc.)
• Managing IT vendors, participating in contract negotiations, and service agreements
• Managing inventory, laptops, iPhones, monitors, docking stations, etc., and planning replacements with EUX
• Managing communication rooms and system rooms
• Overseeing network design at the site, SNOW inventory, SDWAN replacement, EoL Switch, APs, Nutanix, etc.
• Planning and executing TIS projects at the site office, including 2016 => O365 migration
• Supporting urgent cases as needed on a 24x7 basis

• Degree in computer science, IT-related field, or technical discipline; Master’s degree desirable
• Fluent English written & spoken
• Working experience in IT / OT area, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry as an IT Leader. Typically requires 10+ years of experience across these areas.
• Senior IT professional having technical and process expertise (e.g. ITIL)
• Deep understanding of systems and technologies, including hardware, software, networking, and industrial control systems. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues and implement technical solutions.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate objectives, inspire and motivate staff (direct and virtual), and maintain alignment with business strategy and business stakeholders.
• Sufficient business acumen, including industry and process knowledge of the organization and its business units. Ability to understand commercial drivers of an organization and translate between these business needs and OT / IT needs.
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, strategic planning, influencing, negotiations, and execution skills. Stakeholder management will be a key part of this role.
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and expectation management skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across all organizational levels. Hands-on approach to work, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Demonstrated leadership, including team leadership and organizational skills, in a cross-cultural environment.
