DUTIES:

• Work closely with customers and Business Intelligence Analysts to design and develop Business Intelligence software solutions to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions.• Responsible for the full software life cycle development, implementation, production support, and performance tuning of the Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Mart, and Business Intelligence Reporting environments, and support the integration of those systems with other applications.• Design, develop and test Business Intelligence software solutions including databases, data warehouses, queries and views, reports, and dashboards.• Collect, analyze, and share software data to help business teams drive improvement in key business metrics, customer experience, and business results.• Utilize database and web application technologies to design, develop, and evaluate innovative business intelligence software tools and automated reports.• Perform data conversions, import, and export of data within and between internal and external software systems.• Merge Business Intelligence platforms with production enterprise systems and applications.• Advocate for best-in-class solutions to business challenges.• Enhance the performance of business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and indexes.• Document new and existing models, solutions, and implementations.• Perform data conversions, imports, and exports of data within and between internal and external software systems including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle SQL, Teradata and Alteryx.• Position reports to Centene headquarters at 7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time.• Position requires less than 10% travel to domestic sites for project-related engagement and delivery, training and presentations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related and 3 years of relevant work experience.

In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) Testing large, complex Data Warehouse/ETL applications; (2) Developing accurate, insightful, high-performance dashboards sourced from very large datasets; (3) Using ETL tools, including Talend, SSIS or Alteryx; (4) Using BI Reporting tools, including PowerBI or Tableau; (5) Working in relational databases, including MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle or Greenplum; (6) Writing complex SQL scripts including complex select statements using multiple joins on a regular basis; and (7) Managing data projects in a QA, Project, or Tech lead capacity.

WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week [8:00 am to 5:00 pm]
