Job Description

What is the opportunity?

In this position, you would partner with IT, operations teams, and business stakeholders to assess, analyze, and recommend business and technical solutions on projects related to brokerage back office processing. You would lead project teams through design and development and ensure the solution is properly implemented from end-to-end. If you like taking operations systems from where they are to a newer, better target state, this is the position for you.

What will you do?

• Work collaboratively with solution architects, business analysts, project managers, and technical leads to design solutions for different back office processes
• Develop and present solution alternatives along with recommendations to business stakeholders, executives, and senior management
• Recommend best mix of standard functionality, configuration and custom development, interfacing applications and third party vendor solutions to meet business requirements and project objectives
• Help project delivery team scope cross commits with various IT teams from ideation to launch
• Work with our back office vendor systems to determine technical requirements and documentation
• Identify functional issues and risks and develop/recommend mitigation strategies
• Configure systems solution and develop functional specifications when needed based on business requirements
• Document new builds and transition to production support team

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• 3+ years of experience in IS/IT
• Be able to research and document current technical state of systems end-to-end; gathering information directly from users and other tech teams, as well as system and process documentation
• Strong systems and process analysis and documentation skills
• Strong visual and verbal communication skills
• Data query experience
• College degree or sufficient related work experience

Nice-to-have

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or quantitative / analytical field
• Experience working in a team environment
• Experience with project development process of baselining and managing changes
• Experience with financial/wealth management industry
