Senior Application Support Enginner

We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Senior Application Support Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support for a wide range of applications, with a primary focus on databases, SQL languages, operating systems (Windows and Unix), API integration, and web servers. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to support and maintain various applications, including those built on .NET, Java, and React frameworks. What to Expect:

· Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

· Develop and execute SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases.

· Monitor and maintain web servers and API integrations, ensuring smooth functioning and responsiveness.

· Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.

· Document technical processes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices for future reference.

What We Are Looking For:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Strong knowledge of databases and SQL languages (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).

· Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and Unix/Linux.

· Proficiency in working with API integrations and web servers (e.g., IIS, Apache, Nginx).

· Experience supporting applications built on .NET, Java, or React frameworks.

· Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams.

Bonus Points:

· Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

· Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).

· Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

· Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
