Senior Art Director

Proposed requirements: BA in Digital Design or Advertising; coursework in Digital Production, Advertising Design; at least 2 years of experience as an Art Director with a digital marketing agency

Proposed job duties:

• Research and analyze client's requirements in the creative areas of visual advertising for awareness and customer acquisition; develop recommendations pertaining to the design strategy for web pages and graphic design of advertisements to reach the client's goal;
• Research and analyze the client's market, competitor products, and design strategies utilized for past advertising campaigns; make projections and inform the strategic design of a client's recommendation;
• Design a digital media strategy, and develop company-wide creative guidelines including recommended use of technology, targeting tactics, and recommendations on the design of advertisements and messaging to increase the client's competitive advantage;
• Formulate the basic layout, design, or presentation approach and specific material details to complete graphic design of pitch decks, including diagrams to visually captivate the audience and simply convey complex concepts; develop strategic structuring of presentations to entice a client to engage in business with the company;
• Pitch and discuss the proposed strategy with the client;
• Coordinate revisions of the design proposals, when applicable;
• Identify new digital media vendors, and evaluate new and existing vendor capabilities as a fit for a client's strategic design goals; obtain and store key material from vendors, including graphics and visuals to enrich presentations.
• May telecommute from the continental US.

The salary band for this role is $110,000 - $145,0000. Where a prospective new hire's base salary will fall within this band depends on several factors including their qualifications and experience, the skill level required in the role, market rates, and the salaries of existing crew members at Big Spaceship within the same role to maintain internal equity.
