Senior Art Director

Golin is looking for our next Senior Art Director!

We are seeking someone who is curious, highly motivate, and interested in what’s going on around the world and how it impacts brands. You are a self-starter, with deep roots in digital/social creative, including animation, and have experience leading ideation and execution on social and earned campaigns. You can bring ideas to life, and love presenting those ideas, are passionate about creative and marketing on social platforms, are in tune with trends, and the unique ways to reach audiences via social platforms.

What You’ll Do:

• Help lead creative ideation and execution of social and earned campaigns. Experience working on retail and consumer clients a plus.
• Design social ads, both paid and organic, as well as larger earned-led social campaigns
• Mentor and teach junior level creatives, and collaborate with an integrated team
• Present to internal and external stakeholders, and communicate your ideas to clients with clarity, strategic insight, and passion.
• Keep a pulse on what’s being talked about by media, consumers, and influencers.
• Make creative recommendations that will drive earned conversations.
• Spot opportunities and new industry trends, glean insights, and brainstorm creative action plans driving results for our clients and brands.

  What You Have: 

• 5+ years of experience in an agency or in-house creative environment working in design and/or art direction 
• Experience creating earned first, inherently social ideas that grab national headlines.
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator and AfterEffects
• Deep knowledge of digital, social, animation is essential.
• Hands-on and highly conceptual, a clear communicator who has a deep understanding of visual storytelling
• Strong collaboration and client presentation skills, experience working with an integrated team a plus
• Strong desire to mentor junior art directors/designers, with a positive demeanor, bringing energy every single day to your work and to the agency
• Knowledge of and sensitivity to trends influencing popular culture and design

Salary range: $55,000 – $95,000

Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.
