Zayo is seeking an experienced Sr Asset Manager to oversee Zayo's regional and market level infrastructure assets to ensure optimal utilization, cost accuracy, sales growth, and overall value creation. A key member of the Fiber Product team, the Sr Asset Manager works closely with Product, Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing teams to hit key metrics and acceleration of business line initiatives and goals.
Through a deep understanding of the market, the Sr Asset Manager will provide recommendations and sponsor initiatives to drive growth, reduce costs, and optimize assets within their region of coverage. This position requires a firm grasp of Zayo's product portfolio, competitive position and industry market dynamics and relating outcomes to operating metric performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the company's asset portfolio, including physical and financial aspects, to ensure maximum value and return on investment
- Develop and implement strategies and policies to support the company's business objectives and goals
- Responsible for active management of asset inventory within the market to mitigate excessive spend and to maximize value of assets
- Ownership of business cases for network expansions & improvements, working closely with marketing and commercial teams to sell into these network investments
- Analyze and evaluate the company's network infrastructure to identify areas for optimization and improvement
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies, forecast demand, and optimize revenue
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to ensure cost accuracy and profitability
- Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management on asset utilization, sales growth, and pricing performance
- Ability to lead negotiation of simple and complex contracts with vendors, suppliers, and customers to ensure favorable terms and pricing
- Responsible for ensuring data integrity within various platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in asset management and network optimization
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate B.A. or B.S. degree. Focused area of study in Engineering, Business, Finance or Economics, preferred
- MBA and/or equivalent work experience with proven ability to work across functional boundaries, preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of asset management, business development, or commercial product management experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior experience with network development or other network construction/planning is beneficial
- Well-developed financial skills including business case development, cost management, budgeting and financial analysis
- Excellent written and interpersonal communications skills, with experience presenting to executive management
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite with emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required. Knowledge of Salesforce platform is a plus
- Detail oriented with superb organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to be flexible in work schedule and to work and meet strict deadlines with limited supervision
Base pay range: $97,500 - $143,000, commensurate with experience
