The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to serve as a Senior Associate on our Account Services team; this individual will be responsible for assisting the Account Services Manager.

Account Services facilitates sell-side and buy-side secondary onboarding to ensure proper counterparty information is entered correctly into the Client Relationship Management (CRM) tools, such as Salesforce™, utilized by MarketAxess employees.

How You'll Help Take Us There

  • Multiple touchpoints across many different functions and internal groups, such as our Scrum Teams, Trading Desk, Credit team and Integration team, to name a few; all of which helps to provide a complete view in to the Dealer and Client experience, as well as what goes into supporting our customers
  • Oversee and collaborate daily with MarketAxess Client Sales account coverage and MarketAxess Dealer Sales Relationship Managers
  • Work with MarketAxess application developers on system enhancements, whether communicating requests submitted by our customers or partnering on enhancements to streamline internal systems, processes and tools used by the Account Services team to perform our day to day responsibilities
  • Proactively respond to daily requests submitted by Broker Dealer and Client customers, such as new account setups, report requests, build trading relationships, various system related inquiries, etc.
  • Provide support to Broker Dealer and Client contacts regarding various MarketAxess platforms
  • Manage MarketAxess’ relationship with Broker Dealer’s System Administrators
  • Perform demos & real-time training for customer administrator portals, in addition to MarketAxess Systems, like the MKTX STP Allocations Portal
  • Assist the Account Services Manager in setting clear team goals and work with the Account Services Manager to delegate tasks and set deadlines for the team
  • Assist the Account Services Manager in overseeing day-to-day operation and report back at high level
  • Liaise with the Account Services Manager on strategizing to implement process recommendations and changes

What We’re Looking for  

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience; customer service experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent oral and written business communication skills
  • Ability to professionally interface with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Significant project management experience
  • Experience creating and analyzing development solicitations
  • Self-starter with high energy level and motivation
  • Possesses the maturity to interact as needed with the teams day-to-day
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Excel in particular
  • Understands and can prioritize competing, delicate or time sensitive asks for internal and external stakeholders

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $85,000 USD to $105,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
