CRA’s Life Sciences practice helps pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics and medical device companies achieve optimum performance across key aspects of their business, including innovation, commercial success, organization, and reputation, all for the long-term benefit of patients, clinicians, employees, and shareholders. We work with life sciences businesses directly as well as with their legal counsel, industry associations, government organizations, and advocacy groups from the earliest stages of research into new therapy areas, through product development, to the delivery of products that will achieve commercial success and fulfill the expectations of our clients and their key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop analysis plans and execute model-building and analyses using SAS/R/Python, by working closely with project/client manager on business side
  • Present analytical approach and findings to internal and external stakeholders
  • Support business development and internal R&D as needed in relevant domain areas
  • Mentor and coach junior analytics team members during project delivery and share best practices across the team

Qualifications

  • MS or Ph.D. in one of the following disciplines (or related disciplines): Statistics, Data Sciences, Biostatistics, and Engineering
  • 2-5 years of work experience in a related field (life sciences consulting, healthcare analytics, biopharma, biotech, CRO and/or general consulting) conducting advanced analytics
  • Prior experience in RWE (real-world evidence) analytics and reporting are a significant asset
  • Deep knowledge with secondary data sources including claims (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo, Definitive Healthcare, MarketScan), EMR/EHR data and other RWE data
  • Strong technical skills on predictive modeling, patient journey, market mix modeling, promotional response modeling, customer segmentation and forecasting
  • Fluent proficiency in SAS, SQL and R/ Python
  • Exposure with data visualization tools including PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
  • Previous experience with sales force sizing, territory alignment, call planning, sample optimization and IC analytics is a plus
  • Experience in working with Veeva system and/or Adobe is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) and interpersonal relations
  • Work in a dynamic but highly collegial and collaborative environment

The city of New York requires CRA to include a good-faith estimate of the wage range for this role. This range is specific to individuals applying to work in our New York office and considers a number of factors including but not limited to experience, education level, and expertise. A good-faith estimate of the base wage range for this role is $135,000 - $140,000; actual total compensation may also include benefits and bonus.
