Senior Associate/ Associate, Accounting Services (1 year direct contract)

Job Description

This is a 1 year direct contract role which require the shortlisted candidate to be based onsite on client office.

• Ensure timely, accurate client management accounts reporting and analysis.
• Audit liaison with auditors on client related audit queries
• Preparation, review and submission of GST & GST Remission claims,
• Prepare and review unaudited financial statements.
• Prepare cashflow forecast, liquidity report and payments for clients bank accounts.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors and clients.
• Prepare and review accounting related entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end schedules.
• Improve internal controls, processes and procedures.
• Experience with the use of Business Central is a plus
• Handle additional ad-hoc operational duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA.
• 3 – 4 years relevant experience for Senior level or 1-2 years relevant experience for Associate level
• Experience of managing service operations and client deliverables
• Experience in the preparation and review of financial accounts, management accounts and GST returns
• Excellent organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, CPF, GST and relevant tax rules, procedures and guidelines
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with particular focus on Excel skills and Xero accounting software
• ‘Can do’ attitude with the ability to cope to tight deadlines, working under pressure and leading by example
• Experience working in client accounting environment
• Able to speak/ write Mandarin is a must due to the work requirement
