The Senior Associate, Population Health reports to the Director of Population Health.  

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, enjoys solving challenging problems, uses data to drive insights, and excels in a fast-paced environment. This will be a high-visibility role requiring significant cross-team collaboration within Population Health and other corporate teams (e.g., Business Intelligence, Care Services, Clinical Quality, Managed Care Operations, etc.).

Core Responsibilities

  • Play critical role in leveraging data analytics and strategic thinking to identify key insights and trends to drive high-impact initiatives across clinical documentation

  • Develop and maintain extensive weekly reporting, driving insights and action items to improve performance

  • Stay current on latest developments with the CMS risk adjustment model to drive innovation and improved services

  • Contribute and help to drive forward high impact clinical documentation initiatives

  • Provide analytical support across clinical documentation functions (risk analytics, audit needs, CDS program, care model tools, payer data) 

  • Develop materials and lead discussions with relevant organizational leaders

  • Other duties, as determined by direct manager

What are we looking for?

  • 2+ years of consulting or other applicable experience in healthcare / population health

  • Strong interpersonal skills that support effective stakeholder engagement

  • Analytical and data savvy; highly proficient with Microsoft Excel

  • Strong written communication skills; highly proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Ability to develop business cases, ROI analysis, and financial analysis

  • Passion for excellence, willing to go the extra mile to achieve objectives and ensure consistently high quality work product

  • Quick learner comfortable with a high level of ambiguity

  • Ability to succinctly summarize and synthesize large amounts of information

  • Strong accountability and discipline against timelines and deliverables

  • Collaborative working style, able to work cross functionally

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • US work authorization
