More About the Role:
As Senior Associate, Community Affairs and Social Impact, you will have a direct impact on Grubub's philanthropic and charitable giving strategies in core markets, focusing on restaurant support, food insecurity/food waste initiatives, and youth development programs. Further, you will identify and execute against opportunities to build goodwill with Grubhub's strategic stakeholders including but not limited to restaurant associations, chambers of commerce, and community advocacy organizations.
This position will be located in New York City . The role will report to the Senior Manager of Community Affairs and Social Impact and will coordinate with Grubhub's Government Affairs, Communications, Legal, and Marketing teams.
The Impact You Will Make:

• Work cross-functionally to help build national and local community affairs strategies.
• Track and maintain an active list of local, state, and national partnerships.
• Manage grassroots advocacy programs.
• Draft communications for senior and executive teams and external audiences as well as coordinate with Grubhub's social media team to amplify events, programs and partnerships.
• Identify and grow opportunities to align company objectives with community affairs opportunities.
• Help manage external consultants and stakeholder engagement.

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in government, corporate philanthropy, grassroots activations or social impact programs.
• Strong organizational skills and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
• Direct policy experience, particularly with marketplace-based organizations
• Experience working with policymakers, advocates, trade associations and/or other constituencies to develop advocacy strategies to advance policy goals
• Proven track record of leading initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a team environment.
• Experience operating cross-functionally in an organization, creating consensus, and executing action plans
• Top notch public speaking and writing ability
• Positive energy on a daily basis is a must
• Must be willing to travel as needed.

NYC Salary Range: $87,000 - $122,000
The Base Pay component of our Total Rewards package is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: job responsibilities, location, experience and, education/certifications. In addition to the pay component, this role may be eligible for equity and benefits as part of the Total Rewards package. The Total Rewards package will be determined at the time a contingent offer is made.
