Senior Associate, Copywriting (email)

About You

Nutrafol’s Email Copywriter will be an integral part of the Creative team, helping to scale email initiatives. This person will own all email projects to support cross-functional teams—plus growth, retention, and awareness efforts—while working closely with partners to bring email to life in a relevant, engaging way. 

You are a dexterous writer with a proven ability to write elevated, educational, and informative content that engages new and existing customers. You understand all the nuances of the unique Nutrafol consumer journey—particularly the regulatory standards and notes of authenticity that comes with a brand known for their science-backed formulas. You know how to speak to different audiences in an inherently elevated brand voice that still sounds relatable. Human. Genuine. You’re able to make deep science exciting and consumable. You readily represent the POV of your Copy Director and Executive Creative Director—all the while bringing your own brilliant ideas to the table, wowing them with your insight, and occasionally proving them wrong.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Brand Marketing, Growth, and Retention teams to craft interesting, educational email content 
• Develop intelligent storylines and craft smart copy for existing and new customers 
• Match tone of voice to closely align with brand standards 
• Understand rigorous guardrails we have as a brand, including language set by our Product, Science, and Regulatory teams 
• Work collaboratively across marketing and digital departments
• Help shape Nutrafol’s brand identity in the email space
• Execute top-quality copy from concept to delivery complying with brand standards in execution of marketing materials
• Bring unique ideas and POV to the table

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in digital copywriting for an agency or brand; DTC and Health & Wellness experience is a plus 
• Strong writing, verbal, organizational, and time management skills
• Strong ability to incorporate data and research into copywriting
• Ability to work on tight timelines and hit deadlines 
• Capacity to stretch between writing, editing, and proofreading with agility 
• Able to present ideas clearly and confidently with high level executives
• Proven talent for creating fresh, unique, and professional copywriting
• Excellent communication skills 
• Strong problem-solving and conceptual skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to successfully juggle multiple assignments while meeting deadlines
