We're looking for a Senior Associate - DevOps Engineer to join the Machine Learning Experience (MLX) team!
The MLX team is at the forefront of how Capital One builds and deploys well-managed ML models and features. We onboard and educate associates on the ML platforms and products that the whole company uses. We drive new innovation and research and we're working to seamlessly infuse ML into the fabric of the company. The ML experience we're creating today is the foundation that enables each of our businesses to deliver next-generation ML-driven products and services for our customers.
What You'll Do • Be part of a team leading technical initiatives and problem solving in the SRE and DevOps space to accelerate and de-risk rapid model development by automating governance processes so as to enable faster movement through the model development lifecycle• Work with a broad range of partner teams to contribute to automating elements of the machine learning model governance process through processing of model metadata around experiments, testing and validation• Collaborate with product managers and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive improvements to the model governance process and user experience for our data science partners• Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal and external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community• Utilize programming languages like Go and Python as well as AWS services such as EKS, the various EC2 and networking based services, DynamoDB, EFS and S3, plus various data platforms
Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree• At least 3 years of DevOps/SRE experience• At least 2 years of experience with AWS• At least 1 year of experience in Agile practices
Preferred Qualifications• 2+ years of experience with coding and scripting (Golang, Python, Java, SQL, Bash)• 2+ years of experience in infrastructure design, implementation and delivery• 2+ years of experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible)• 1+ years of experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, New Relic, Datadog, ELK, Grafana) • 1+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker
