Senior Associate, Digital Marketing

Protective’s Marketing organization includes an association business which has a team responsible for growing and supporting insurance plans offered to a targeted audience. The Senior Associate, Digital Marketing will be responsible for the oversight and delivery of key digital challenges, while managing an annual plan and budget.

This role requires a collaborative leader with a passion to manage digital marketing channels that deliver measurable results. The ability to work independently and be hands on with associated technology platforms is key to success in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Stays abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the digital space concerning the areas listed below. Shares knowledge and insights with the team to inspire innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Serves as website owner for all association business line digital properties.
- Partners with IT and marketing to plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the association business line website.
- Displays deep understanding of content management systems (CMS) and utilizes system functionality to drive new capabilities, create efficiencies and maximize site performance. Experience with Sitecore is a plus.
- Utilizes user experience principles to constantly improve site performance. Guides team in the development and maintenance of site content.
- Plans and implements site analytics strategy, providing regular site reporting and recommendations for optimizations.
- Manages site content calendar and executes regular updates to websites and landing pages consistent with brand guidelines and marketing strategies.
- Manage campaign email release schedules including testing plans (A/B and multivariate).
- Create, schedule and monitor email campaigns and landing pages. Develop automated campaigns and create/monitor customer journey paths utilizing third-party tools. Experience with Eloqua is required.
- Tracks and monitors campaign and landing page reporting. Provides regular reports on campaign performance and makes recommendations for optimizations.
- Works with marketing partners to ensure execution of campaigns meet overall business objective as well as helping to summarize campaign media reporting with ideas for future optimizations.

Qualifications
- Education: Must have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Economics, Finance, Public Relations, Business Administration, Information Technology, or any other related field.Â
- Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in digital marketing working in a fast-paced and competitive market setting. This should be inclusive of proven experience in developing and delivering digital campaigns. Must also have experience with hands-on management of websites and landing pages with experience developing appropriate UX/UI approaches.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing third-party site management platforms. Experience with Sitecore is a plus.
- Experienced in budget development and the establishment of procedures for the purpose of monitoring progress against the business’s plans and objectives and ensuring the best application of finances and other resources.
- Communication Skills:Â Communication skills are an important quality, both in verbal and written form. Being a collaborative position, effective execution of cross-functional and departmental duties will be highly dependent on the clarity of communication down the line.
- Â Ability to deliver reports to senior management and key stakeholders and must be well structured, clear, concise, easy to understand, and unambiguous. Must also be capable of defending the conclusions and proposals resulting from his findings/reports in an articulate and convincing manner.
- Â Analytical Skills: Must have keen interest and ability in conducting analyses of data and deriving insight from those data analyses. This should be coupled with logical thinking in approaching issues to achieve productivity gains and ongoing improvement in key processes.
- Must have an understanding and experience of tools and targeting systems. Experience with integrating or managing other related platforms such as Eloqua, SiteCore, Google Analytics, Simplrr, and Adobe DAM are an advantage.
- Â Microsoft Office/Software knowledge and experience are a must.
- Â Interpersonal Skills: Must be passionate about facilitating customer experience and value, be self-motivated and proactive; have an insatiable thirst for knowledge. The candidate will display creative problem-solving skills and work well with others yet be a self-starter. To be successful in this role, one must be comfortable taking calculated risks, readily embrace and lead change, and possess a high level of resilience.
- Â Leadership/People Skills: Have an ability to build positive internal and external relationships. Must be approachable, relatable, and inspire trust in others.
Protective’s targeted salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective’s total compensation package for employees.

This position also offers additional incentive opportunities through an annual incentive based on individual and Company performance.
