Job Summary:

This opportunity will offer the employee the ability to work closely with the founding team, as well as to form close partnerships with team members during the development and formation of the company.

We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative candidate for the role of Senior Associate, Information Technology. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, this individual will support various IT workflows across the organization. The individual will collaborate across the company as a business partner to ensure organizational needs are met in a timely manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT related onboarding and/or offboarding tasks including but not limited to ordering equipment (laptops, peripherals etc.), setting up image and laptops, adding appropriate licenses (Microsoft Office), ensuring appropriate systems and access is live and/or terminated, and installing additional approved/requested software on end user laptops.
  • Streamline office IT related items such as AV assistance, printer assistance and more.
  • Assist with network management such as implementing “rack and stack” requests in the networking closet, investigating Wi-Fi issues, and working on other networking issues under the direction and mentorship of the Director of Information Technology.
  • Create and present tutorials of different systems and tools such as SharePoint, OneDrive and security controls for employee usage.
  • Support on any additional IT initiatives such as cybersecurity audits and assessment of SharePoint as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A.S. or advanced degree in Information Technology, Liberal Arts, Life Sciences, or similar field.
  • 4-5+ years of hands-on experience with TCP/IP networking protocols and procedures, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP administration required.
  • Prior working experience with supporting Mac and Windows environments integrated with cloud technologies from Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
  • Experience performing in-office hardware and network maintenance as well as upgrades highly preferred.
  • Ability to contribute to the technical direction of projects as well as learn new technologies on the job.
  • A strong team player with excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial early-stage environment.
