Senior Associate, Inventory Accounting

About You

Nutrafol is seeking an experienced Inventory Accountant to join our team at the senior associate level. You will be responsible for the day-to-day inventory and cost accounting of the business. You must be a highly driven, high-energy, focused individual that can work well with internal and external partners at all levels. You will be expected to problem solve, drive process improvements and exercise good business judgment.  You will work closely with the Accounting Team, Supply Chain team, and other business partners, and be responsible for accurate and timely inventory data management as well as inventory-related projects and reporting activities, as requested. Responsibilities

• Assist Cost Accounting Manager with the pricing and costing of products and the creation of BOMs
• Enter AP and production records to Quickbooks
• 3 Way Matching  -PO/Receipt/Bill 
• Assist accounting team in ensuring COGS is reflected correctly in daily sales/accounting transactions.
• Reconcile vendor AP and production/fulfillment records to Nutrafol’s accounting records.
• Prepare monthly journal entries as needed
• Assist with reconciliation of  third party inventory systems (on an as needed basis).
• Month End Close for Inventory 
• Ad-hoc inventory related projects. 

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Supply Chain Management
• 5+ years  inventory and cost accounting experience
• Quickbooks Desktop , Ecommerce + Inventory experience
• Manufacturing experience
• 3rd party audit completion
• Experience in start-up/high-growth eCommerce or CPG business.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adhere to tight deadlines, and be unafraid to ask questions
• Advanced skills in Excel, with the ability to manipulate, digest, and summarize large amounts of data
• Requires minimal daily direction from management to accomplish objectives and deadlines
• Proven ability to identify and drive process and system improvements
• Passionate about accounting operations and willing to roll up your sleeves
• Experience gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting financial information to various audiences
