Job Description:

The Investment Analytics and Data (IAD) group is integral both in the successful day-to-day functioning of the firm and in developing Dimensional's long-term strategy. Investment Analytics and Data (IAD) is part of the Research Department within Dimensional. Data and data analysis are at the underpinnings of how Dimensional constructs and manages portfolios and works to provide the best investment experience possible for our clients. The IAD team leads the development of data and technology solutions to implement the firm's investment approach in portfolio management and trading. The group also builds analytical tools for clients to build, understand, and invest in portfolios.

The Data Distribution team aims to deliver data-centric digital experiences to help investors discover Dimensional's investment products, use those products to create an investment plan, and execute on that plan - all in service of providing an exceptional investment experience. Members of this team are dynamic product managers who are experts on Dimensional's data and work collaboratively with designers, engineers, and stakeholders from across the firm.

The Data Distribution team seeks a senior associate (role and compensation will depend on relevant experience) to lead one of our core product squads. This role will require driving the squad's efforts across the full product development lifecycle - from discovery to ideation to delivery and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a product vision and roadmap that aligns to firm and department goals.
• Synthesize user feedback and data to build and continuously refine an understanding of our users and their needs.
• Own the product backlog, working with engineering to refine and prioritize development efforts.
• Articulate detailed product requirements and perform user acceptance testing to verify satisfaction of such requirements.
• Maintain effective communication and establish strong relationships to build consensus amongst stakeholders from across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative focused field.
• Ability to lead product development activities; experience as a product manager is strongly desired.
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Intellectual curiosity with a natural drive to understand the "why".
• Self-starter that excels working both independently and collaboratively.
• Basic understanding of web application architecture and components.
• Familiarity with web browser development and debugging tools.
