Senior Associate, Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs
Job Description
We're seeking a Senior Associate of Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs to join us in our mission to transform the way therapeutics and advanced materials are discovered. This individual will play a key role driving corporate communications, investor relations, and sustainability initiatives to support company goals and objectives. This is a new role within Corporate Affairs.
Schrödinger has pioneered a physics-based software platform that enables discovery of high-quality, novel chemistries for drug development and materials applications more rapidly and at lower cost compared to traditional methods. The software platform is used by biopharmaceutical and industrial companies, academic institutions, and government laboratories around the world.

Estimated base salary range (NYC only): $120,000 - $160,000. Actual compensation package is dependent on a number of factors, including, for example, experience, education, degrees held, market data, and business needs. What you'll do:
- Research, write, edit, and/or proofread communications materials, including but not limited to website content, blog posts, press releases, presentations, fact sheets, and newsletters
- Drive media relations efforts, which will include working on media pitches, preparing spokespeople for interviews, and overseeing media monitoring activities; produce high quality scientific, financial, feature, and other story ideas
- Collaboratively plan and create social media content for LinkedIn and Instagram, and assess impact of social media efforts through tracking, reporting, and analytics
- Monitor our style and editorial guidelines to ensure proper style/format usage across the company; check communications materials for uniformity in message, format, tone, and content
- Maintain editorial calendar, press release schedule, media lists, and other investor relations and corporate affairs planning documents
- Support investor relations efforts, including the maintenance of investor presentations
- Assist with internal communications, including the development of content for internal newsletter and support for company meetings
- Support company communications related to corporate sustainability initiatives
- Collaborate with Marketing to amplify efforts and maintain brand consistency
What you should have:
- A four-year degree or higher in a scientific discipline
- At least two years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or investor relations in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology field
- Experience working with media teams and a basic understanding of financial markets
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides, Nasdaq IR Insight, BusinessWire
- Willingness to travel domestically on occasion
