Duties:
Design new routing, switching, and connectivity solutions. Design new cloud network solutions. Design, architect and plan network changes and new infrastructure. Work with vendors, common carriers and network engineering to identify and resolve complex network problems. Ensure IT/Security Governance needs are met (NIST-CSF and COBIT). Ensure network performance and network security standards are met. Provide tactical and strategic input on overall network planning and related projects. Provide on-call support according to assigned schedule. Document network changes, policies and procedures and drawings. Install, configure and support network equipment that includes routers, switches (L2 & L3), proxy servers, DNS and DHCP. Create and enforce security and access policies for endpoint devices using Cisco Identity Search Engine (ISE) and troubleshoot VPN and various endpoint authentication issues. Address the security vulnerabilities on network devices (such as Cisco routers and switches, Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA) detected by security cloud-based scanner (Qualys), research the vulnerability and determine the solution, implementing the fix (firmware upgrade or configuration changes). *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation's Employee Referral Program.*
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in CS, IT or related and two (2) years of desktop engineering or network engineering experience.
Special Skills Required:
Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Install, configure and support network equipment that includes routers, switches (L2 & L3), proxy servers, DNS and DHCP; 2) Create and enforce security and access policies for endpoint devices using Cisco Identity Search Engine (ISE) and troubleshoot VPN and various endpoint authentication issues; and 3) Address the security vulnerabilities on network devices (such as Cisco routers and switches, Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA) detected by security cloud-based scanner (Qualys), research the vulnerability and determine the solution, implementing the fix (firmware upgrade or configuration changes).
Salary
$98,000-$117,900
