Senior Associate - Operational Risk Management

This position will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and training of the Operational Risk Event Management and Issues Management Programs. The Senior Associate will work alongside members of the Risk Policy & Program Governance Team and other Risk Management members to design, implement, and maintain NYL's Operational Risk programs.

- Serve as the primary business administrator for Risk Policy & Program Governance tools including working with IT to manage and update the data and functionality of tools as needed

- Serve as the backup support contact and business administrator for the Information Security Exceptions tool and process

- Support the implementation of Risk Management tools including documenting business requirements, collecting requirements from stakeholders, testing functionality, tracking, and publishing status

- Responsible for training end users on tools including maintaining user manuals, training materials and team procedures

- Design, create and maintain reports and dashboards including for a senior executive audience

- Perform research and analysis into Risk Management and tooling best practices

- Prepare presentations for various levels of management as needed

- Perform Quality Assurance reviews

- Support the enterprise-wide rollout of Operational Risk Programs including Operational Risk Event Management, Issues Management, and Key Risk Indicators

- Perform other Risk Policy & Program Governance responsibilities as needed

Qualificaitons:

- Bachelor's degree or higher

- 3-5 years of relevenat experience

- Experience in: Risk Events (Risk Incidents), Issues Management, Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM), Operational Risk Management (ORM), ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM)

- Tableau

- MS SharePoint / Teams

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Strong critical thinking skills

- Ability to work in a dynamic environment

Salary range: $72,500-$107,500

Overtime eligible: Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

Sales bonus eligible: No
