Senior Associate, Payments - Middle Office

The Team: 

We are looking for a Middle Office professional to work on the Clear Street Payment team; a part of the operations division. This role will be focused on supporting clients’ payment flow to ensure the efficient handling of cash transaction and managing payment systems.

The Role:

• Oversee the processing of incoming and outgoing payments through various channels, including wire transfers and ACH.
• Monitor cash levels to ensure adequate liquidity for daily operations.
• Perform reconciliation of cash transactions
• Monitor payment systems for efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and implement payment policies and procedures.
• Stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry best practices related to payment processing.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to fulfill business requirements.
• Contribute to process improvement and the general operation of the team and company.

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years of experience in cash management, payment processing within a financial institution
• Experience and knowledge in SWIFT payment, MT103, MT202
• Knowledge in banking systems
• BA/BS Degree in Finance or similar major
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated, high attention to details, and extremely organized

We Offer: 

The Base Salary Range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000. This range is representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Clear Street. Where a candidate falls in this range will be based on job related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. This range represents Base Salary only, which is just one element of Clear Street's total compensation. The range stated does not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses or equity.
