Responsibilities

  • Actively support Reporting project life-cycle activities including gathering requirements, testing, issue tracking, documentation, and project write ups
  • Works with Finance members to develop business requirements, project deliverables, business architectural models, and use-case scenario specifications; communicates issues, concerns, risks and project information as needed
  • Meets regularly with business partners to provide updates, acquire business decisions, and validate scope and direction
  • Partner with project managers to track projects and update the schedule status regularly in accordance with deliverable schedules
  • Work with individuals across different Finance groups to facilitate the creation or modification of reports and data as needed
  • Provide business support for internal team and partners on new and existing customer Reporting initiatives
  • Provides design recommendations for data and reporting solutions including development approach, solution integration and platform utilization.
  • Delivery lead managing offshore developers on Reporting related projects (Small Enhancements) assignments
  • Review and approve sign-off of developers reporting related test documentation in a Change Management Process
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on reporting with the business
  • Support Delivery of SAP system change requests (CRs) including: base business requests, break-fix, new enhancements and new functionality.
  • Subject matter expert in one (or more) specific Business Information (BI) Tools (Analysis for Office, Crystal Reports, Tableau, Business Objects Web Intelligence (WEBI)
  • Facilitate and promote usage and adoption of Business Information (BI) tools with Finance business users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong ability to analyze and document business requirements, solve problems, and recommend enhanced business processes.
  • Strong technical proficiency and demonstrated ability with Business Information (BI) Tools and data management technologies such SAP, Business Objects (WEBI), Analysis for Office, Tableau, databases, and master data management.
  • High attention to detail to identify, evaluate and resolve data quality issues and reasonability check analytical results.
  • Ability to perform basic project management functions and work independently to prioritize workload and handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, communicate, build relationships, mentor and influence a community of reporting and data professionals across Finance business areas
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to work with all levels within the organization
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities

Salary range: $75,000-$115,000

Overtime eligible: Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

Sales bonus eligible: No
