Job Details:

Frazier & Deeter is looking to add a System and Organization Control (SOC) Senior Associate to our Process, Risk, and Governance team.  The SOC Senior Associate will assist with the execution and delivery of SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 engagements to clients ranging from start-up, mid-sized private to publicly traded companies.  The SOC Senior Associate will assist with first time SOC reporting clients in “readiness assessments” for SOC 1 and SOC 2 examinations.

Requirements: 

• 3+ years IT audit experience

• Certification or certification candidate – CISA, CPA, CISSP, CIA, etc.
• Demonstrated success in a client service role, preferably with Big 4 or national advisory or consulting firm
• Familiarity with variety of technologies, operating systems, databases, and reporting and data analytics tools
• Ability to interact with external auditors and members of management to deliver expectations and communicate and interpret key audit priorities and issues, including PCAOB and AICPA trends
• Experience related to the following areas:
• SSAE No. 18 and 21 / SOC 1 / SOC 2 / SOC 2 + / SOC 3 / Cyber SOC
• SOC 1 and SOC 2 Guidance
• IT risk assessment / operational IT audit
• IT general controls
• IT Frameworks (COSO, COBIT, NIST)
• Working knowledge of basic auditing and financial accounting concepts
• Exceptional project management skills including ability to manage complex engagements, meet client deadlines, and capability to present to Board / C-suite audience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Teaching and staff development
• Exemplify a positive attitude and strong work ethic with a commitment to teamwork and professionalism
• Ability to travel 20% to 40%
