Senior Associate, Solution Engineering (Java Developer) – Pune, India

You will be working with a team of engineers with a broad range of responsibilities including all aspects of software engineering like requirements understanding and validation, solution design detailed design, development, testing and software configuration management. Build products, systems, and services that are optimized, well organized and maintainable, and have high impact on our end users. 

Role Responsibilities 

• Be part of a high-performing team of software developers with a broad range of responsibilities including design, development, unit testing and software configuration management. 

• Build software that is optimized, well organized and maintainable. 

• Monitoring on-going risks and providing resolutions, driving process improvements, resource planning & optimization and performance management 

• Partner with key stakeholders, both off-shore and on-shore, and delivering on the service level agreements 

• Coordinate reviews, oversight, and implementation in conjunction with the WU-Architecture team 

• Implement security and data protection measures 

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends 

• Invest time daily on all projects to remove impediments and provide solutions to technical challenges and make escalations, as necessary. 

Role Requirements 

• B.E./B,Tech with 5-8 years of relevant software development experience with focus on delivering technology focused projects 

• Experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, API’S, SOA, SOAP, REST. 

• RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, IBM DB2, etc. 

• NoSQL databases like Apache Cassandra and MongoDB 

• Experience in SQL development and big data technologies (Snowflake, Snowpark) 

• Good understanding of Microservices and Event driven architecture 

• Experience in developing and deploying applications in AWS Cloud 

• Data Structures, Design Patterns, algorithms, OOPS concepts 

• Experience in implementing DevOps and exposure to all DevOps areas like Source Control, Continuous Integration, Infra Automation, Continuous Deployment 

• Basic experience with Docker or Kubernetes will be a plus 

• Experience with agile development methodologies with emphasis on Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI (Continuous Integration)/CD (Continuous Delivery). 

• Strong communication skills with ability to interact with internal and external partners globally. 

• Experience in the Financial Services industry preferred 

• Experience in developing and deploying applications in AWS Cloud 

• Data Structures, Design Patterns, algorithms, OOPS concepts 

• Experience in implementing DevOps and exposure to all DevOps areas like Source Control, Continuous Integration, Infra Automation, Continuous Deployment 

• Basic experience with Docker or Kubernetes will be a plus 

• Strong communication skills with ability to interact with internal and external partners globally.
