Get to know the Team

At Grab, our Strategic Finance team drives our financial strategy to ensure sustainable profitable growth. We partner with different departments to provide senior management with both operational and financial analysis, strategic planning, and decision support, ensuring that Grab continues to expand.

Get to know the Role

Reporting to our Head of Commercial Operations & PMO, Strategic Finance, you will drive financial forecasting, business partnering, and strategic decision-making. You will have finance background, excellent technical skills, and ability to collaborate across several teams.

This is an onsite role and our office is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will lead the development of financial forecasting models, incorporating main goals and market trends.
• You will conduct in-depth financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, and prepare insightful management reports.
• You will partner with business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide timely and accurate financial information.
• You will build relationships with key stakeholders, providing financial expertise and guidance to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives.
• You will use SQL and Databricks to extract and analyze large datasets, and develop financial models.
• You will take a hands-on approach, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data, and resolve issues, participating in special projects.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 4 or more years of experience, preferably in a forecasting or business partnering role
• Proficient in SQL, Databricks, and Excel
• Prior experiences in Ads Ops/Planning or Sales Ops/Planning will be a significant advantage.
