Role Overview
Ankura Strategy & Performance Senior Associates are hands on leaders of small projects and key contributors to large or complex project teams, with regular guidance from their Managing Director, as well as more experienced consultant engagement leaders and mentors. They typically have 4-7 years of relevant business and project experience, or a combination of experience and post-graduate education. The Senior Associate is exposed to a broad range of opportunities and assumes more challenging projects and work tasks as their experience grows.

The Senior Associate is exposed to a broad range of opportunities and assumes more challenging projects and work tasks as their experience grows.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts relevant research, analysis, and synthesizes findings into compelling conclusions and recommendations
- Develops high-quality deliverables that leverage qualitative, quantitative, and visual elements
- Leads workstreams and participates in large or complex projects
- Effectively executes and manages assigned scope using leading practice and/or "right-sized" methods, tools, and approaches
- Proactively identifies and resolves issues critical to the overall project success
- Creates and maintains key documentation throughout the project, including project plans, status reports issue/risk logs, decision history, business process diagrams, communication plans and deliverables, etc.
- Conducts interviews and participates in work sessions to analyze current and design future business processes
- Manages conflicts and escalates critical issues to the project lead or business sponsor
- Facilitates effective communication to ensure all relevant team members and stakeholders are well informed
- Flexibly contributes in various project roles, as necessary, with project sponsor approval

- Travel (by air and car) as required depending on engagement mix. Although typically more travel is required at the beginning of the engagement and then becomes intermittent throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Graduate degree in business, technical or analytical concentration a plus
- 4-7 years of relevant business experience
- Experience participating in business projects
- Project management and consulting experience
- Experience or education in information systems a plus
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, with demonstrated ability to efficiently produce crisp, professional documents
