BNY Mellon seeks a highly motivated Senior Analyst to join the growing Chief Sustainability Office team. We are looking for an experienced and creative rising leader to help to drive and define our sustainability strategy initiatives and embed a culture of sustainability at BNY. This role is located in New York, NY and will work a HYBRID schedule.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Lead projects and workstreams supporting voluntary and mandatory sustainability disclosures.
• Create and maintain "gold copy" resources for client teams and external communications; contribute to evolution of internal platforms, tools and processes to maximize their use and support commercial requirements.
• Support RFP, DDQ and related business enablement activities.
• Work closely with senior management to support a range of strategic priorities and lead special projects aligned to enterprise sustainability strategy - including research, project management, preparation of briefing materials and key presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Contribute to internal training programs, thought leadership.
• Employee and LOB engagement: develop and maintain relationships with partner teams and employee groups as representative of the CSO team.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• 3-5 years overall work experience; BA in sustainability management, business, public policy, or related.
• Expertise in key sustainable finance disclosure regulations and voluntary industry frameworks, and passion for staying abreast of rapidly evolving landscape; experience working in or with large financial institution on these issues a strong plus.
• Exceptional analytical and writing skills; ability to message and present to different audiences and in different formats.
• Ability to balance and drive multiple projects concurrently; comfort prioritizing and executing in a in fast moving and dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to escalate challenges and identify solutions.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $54,000 and $110,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
