We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Repo Trading to join our Collateral Funding & Trading Group within the Markets team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL. Or Jersey City, NJ - HYBRID/REMOTE 3 days in office per week required.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Responsible for all sales, trading, and support functions required to finance the firm through repurchase agreements and securities lending transactions.
• Work with Treasury department and other internal partners to determine daily funding requirements to ensure firm liquidity mandates.
• Engage in customer facing and inter-dealer repo trading through various trading platforms and internal systems, while adhering to guidelines set by risk, regulatory reporting, and credit.
• Assist in enhancing or automating current daily functions to help streamline manual processes.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• BA/BS in Business/Finance or closely related field. Minimum 3.5 GPA
• 1-3 years' experience in the securities finance markets trading and operations as it relates to repurchase agreements and securities lending.
• Ability to perform multiple complex trading and operational tasks simultaneously without errors.
• Work as part of a team with the ability to back-up multiple functions as required.
• Ability to cover daily desk functions from 6:30am EST to market close.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros), PowerPoint, and Bloomberg.
• FINRA Series 7 required.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $120,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
