Senior Associate, Trading Operations

Responsibilities:

• Execute cryptocurrency trades efficiently and consistently in a timely fashion in connection with the operations of Grayscale’s Products from inception of the trade through settlement
• Monitor digital asset price risk and execute the monetization of Grayscale’s fees and related tradingstrategies utilizing spot sales and options strategies
• Operate trading systems, monitoring execution and interacting with trading partners•Identify, research, and implement automated trading strategies
• Work with other traders or developers to automate and improve trading operations and systems•Communicate with other team members to inform risk and treasury management decisions
• Contribute to pre and post trade analysis to inform the improvement of current strategies
• Continuously educate yourself on the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency market to help drive the evolution of the trading function

Prior Experience/Requirements:

• 4-8 years of trading experience at a leading financial institution or cryptocurrency firm trading through exchanges, order-routing systems, and OTC desks
• Strong knowledge base in digital currencies and ecosystem
• Experience trading cryptocurrency is strongly preferred but not required
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree from top tier university
• Entrepreneurial drive and a team player
• Detail oriented with the drive to improve trading operations
• Strong track record of advancement/attainment in both academic and professional environments
• Exceptional conceptual, quantitative, and analytical abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to describe sophisticated problems and solutions
• Ability to manage trading strategy, risk, and trading relationships.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize with ease independently in a fast-paced environment
• FINRA Series 7 required.
