Senior Audit Associate / Audit Senior
Job Description
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $80,000 to $100,000 per year.Job Responsibilities:

Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, including reviewing workpapers and financial statements.
β’
Supervise and support junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship throughout engagements.
β’
Participate in client meetings and maintain clear communication to ensure expectations are met.
β’
Manage both audit and non-audit assignments efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
β’
Begin building strong client relationships by demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness.Requirements:
β’
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit engagements.
β’
CPA license, successful completion of the CPA exam, or eligibility to sit for the exam.
β’
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and QuickBooks.
β’
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
β’
Willingness to adjust work schedule as needed to accommodate client and project demands.Qualifications:
β’
A Bachelorβs degree in Accounting.
β’
Solid understanding of GAAP, OCBOA, and financial statement presentation standards.
β’
Familiarity with generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures.
β’
Experience with not-for-profit and affordable housing audits is preferred.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
