Senior Automation Analyst

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

In this role you will serve as a senior technical advisor to engineers, product developers, management and customers on the development, construction and support of wireline and wireless networks. Applies extensive, in-depth knowledge, skills, and practices to perform complex assignments.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Overseeing high-impact complex engineering projects and addressing major challenges at all stages of the engineering life cycle.

• Researching and evaluating new network products, components and services; recommending enhancements to existing network infrastructure.

• Consulting to designers and contractors on estimating, scheduling, subcontracting and purchasing for construction projects.

• Designing and building models and prototypes of proposed networks and assessing the feasibility, usability and marketability.

• Knowledge of advance routing like BGP, OSPF, VLANs and ACLs.

• Knowledge of switching and ability to implement (layer 3 solutions) and identify healthy status of devices.

• Understanding of KPIs and generating reports via python scripting.

• Use/editing python scripting in a network environment for changes, information collection and system verification.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Ansible Tower/Ansible Automation Platform and Python Scripting.

• Need an understanding and able to use GitHub for source code management.

• Knowledge of Cisco platforms (DNAC, ThousandEyes, NDFC) would be an asset.

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of Helios would be an asset.
