Due to our excellent working relationships with our clients, repeat work as well as our 3, 5 & 10 year growth plan, we have an immediate opening for a Senior Automation Engineer professional and are seeking qualified candidates who are enthusiastic and driven to succeed.

Position Summary

As a Senior Automation Engineer you should be a caring, enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, and organized individual that will provide Design, Installation and Commissioning with Field Startup and Troubleshooting support for Green and Brown Field projects. You will provide technical leadership to support staff and projects and have experience with various equipment such as pumps, drives, HVAC, skid controls and processes; mixing, blending, transfer of material, heating and cooling processes, agitators, and conveyor systems.

Skills

• Proficient with MSWord, Excel and Power Point
• Design, Installation and Commissioning experience
• Field Startup and Troubleshooting experience
• Green Field and Brown Field project experience
• Experience with various equipment such as pumps, drives, HVAC, skid controls and processes; mixing, blending, transfer of material, heating and cooling processes, agitators, and conveyor systems.
• Ability to provide technical leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or related field (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering)
• 7+ years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting
• Ability to travel as required to client sites
• Experience with specifying the hardware and software and implementing into design for manufacturing and automation networks.
• Experience configuring and programming Rockwell Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View SE, and FactoryTalk Historian software applications
• Experience with Chemical and Pharmaceutical Automation projects
• Experience with instrumentation selection and configuration
• Experienced or familiar with Good Automation Manufacturing Practices (GAMP5) and Validation/Qualification processes
• Experienced with Cost of Work Estimation for Network and Automation projects.
