Senior Automation Engineer - Drone Delivery

This role is part of the Innovation and Automation/Drone Delivery team and reports to the Senior Manager II, Automation Engineering. This role is open to remote candidates in the United States.

What you will bring/do:

• Experience with identifying, assessing, tracking, and mitigating issues at multiple levels
• Simplifying operational processes for internal and external adoption.
• Manage operational relationships to increase performance.
• Own existing or newly discovered processes for project success and implement required changes across multiple teams
• Experience in JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, PowerBI, BigQuery, Excel dashboard creation
• Experience in data architecture mapping to discover opportunities for AV program data growth
• Balance business needs with technical constraints when handing bottlenecks with proper escalation management.
• Disseminated program information to stakeholders, peer teams and external service vendors.
• Perceive apparent technical or process setbacks and understand when to push teams and when to follow procedure
• Identify opportunities to surprise and delight the customer with our new service.
• 2+ years in large scale operational teams.
• 2+ years technical program management.

You'll sweep us off our feet if you have experience in the following:

• Experience in software development methodologies either as Scrum Master or Agile Coach
• FAA 107 certification.
• PMI certification.
• QA/QC experience.
• Aviation background.
• Construction and/or Real Estate management background.
• Understand of FAA 135 certification, BVLOS standards.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Experience tackling new and experimental services without existing defined frameworks
• Experience integrating new large-scale automation programs to legacy systems
