In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and execute test cases based on software requirements and technical designs

• Lead testing efforts with a strong focus on Java-based automation frameworks using Selenium

• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts for web applications, ensuring robust test coverage

• Executing and analyzing functional regression and security testing to ensure product reliability

• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to improve quality processes, including CI/CD pipeline integration

• Actively participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and release management, providing feedback from a QA perspective

• Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies, implementing cutting-edge testing strategies to ensure continuous improvement

About the ideal candidate

To succeed in your new role, you’re required to have relevant experience in the following areas:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead QA role

• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Deep understanding of Java programming language and Selenium WebDriver for test automation

• Experience in building and managing automated testing frameworks and pipelines

• Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java for writing test scripts and automating test cases

• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, integrating automated tests within the pipeline

• Strong knowledge of version control systems

• Basic knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus

• Problem-Solving:

• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems, analyze issues, and deliver robust solutions for automation and quality challenges

• Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset

• Leadership experience with the ability to mentor junior team members

• Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset focused on product quality

• Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
