Senior Automation Quality Assurance Engineer

We at Interactive Brokers seek a Senior Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to design, develop, document and maintain automated test cases for our client-facing applications.

You will Be Responsible for:

• Perform Test Analysis, Design and Implementation of test cases
• Maintain, update & extend existing automation framework
• Analyze, investigate and report defects
• Monitoring of test automation results
• Handle concurrent projects/tasks with differing levels of urgency

What you will need to have:

• Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience with Python
• Strong understanding of OOP fundamentals and design pattern applications
• Experience with implementing UI & API tests
• Experience with test automation of Desktop & Web applications
• Experience with at least one automation tool like TestComplete, Ranorex, Katalon etc.
• Experience with test automation libraries like Selenium, Robot, Cypress
• Working knowledge of Git (GitLab, Bitbucket etc.)
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, physical science or engineering
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• More than seven years of experience with manual & automated testing

Nice to have:

• Experience with trading platforms
• Experience with test automation of Mobile applications (iOS & Android)
• Basic experience in Java, JavaScript, Groovy
• Experience with the Squish test automation tool
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins
• Experience with build tools like Ant, Maven etc.
• Basic user knowledge of Unix
