Senior Automation Quality Engineer Automation

We are looking for a self-motivated Senior Quality Engineer to join the Elroy team, developing the IDT fintech and neobanking solutions, which include:

- backend systems, including AWS serverless services and dockerized applications

- mobile applications in Android and iOS, React Native, Flutter

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct backend (integration) and mobile app (end-to-end), exploratory and regression testing of the fintech solutions.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated integration tests for backend services.

- Ensure that releases meet the expected quality standards.

- Document found defects in Jira and manage tickets lifecycle.

- Collaborate with the development team and the product owner to understand the requirements and provide feedback.

- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven 3+ years experience as a QA engineer.
• Understanding of QA methodologies, best practices and tools.
• Understanding of client-server architecture, concept of API, HTTP protocol, databases.
• Experience in testing mobile applications, testing APIs and automating tests.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with AWS environments.
• Familiarity with GraphQL protocol.
• Experience with performance/load testing.
• Experience with security testing.
• Familiarity with Java or JavaScript.
