Senior AV Specialist

Yext has an immediate opening on the IT Ops team for a Senior AV Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, support, and maintenance of all audiovisual systems within Yext HQ. They will guide in orchestrating audiovisual demands with high-profile executive meetings, internal/external office programming and events, and company/department all-hands events. They will work closely with the Brand Experience and Workplace teams to deliver an excellent meeting, conference, and working experience. The Senior AV Specialist will be tasked with becoming a guide in the use, configuration, optimization, and maintenance of these systems, and with providing the highest level of customer service.
What You’ll Do

• Management/fix of AV equipment, including but not limited to audio, video, lighting, computer networking systems, and hardware both in-house and client systems
• Provides on-site meeting support for Senior and Executive level leadership
• Supporting/Creation of marketing content to be distributed where appropriate
• Setup and tear-down of meeting space equipment as needed
• Monitoring of AV equipment during presentations
• Performs routine maintenance of all Conference Rooms and Audio Visual Systems
• Act as the main contact for all AV-related inquiries across all Yext offices globally.
• Flexible hours to align with key meetings that require support (e.g., Sunday prep - Monday event)
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation and how-to-use guides
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and engineer appropriate deployments
• Develop innovative ideas; assist with defining the centers' strategy for a broad range of audio, video, and conferencing technologies that can streamline work-flows and provide additional features
• Supervise AV email and provide timely responses
• Help drive the Audio & Video contract and ensure all equipment is covered and accurate SLAs are in place

What You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Audio Video Conferencing, AV Engineering, or related technical field, or similar college-level education
• 5+ years experience in managing IT and AV equipment and computer software systems
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of audiovisual equipment including analog/digital audio mixers, wireless microphone systems, seamless video switchers, and projectors/displays
• Extensive knowledge of Zoom and all related products/features.
• Experience with Google Apps, MS Office, Keynote, and other Presentation software
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and other content editing applications is a plus
• Basic knowledge of data networking principles, architecture, and applications
• Experience in the basic installation, configuration, operation, and administration of operating systems, applications, and hardware for Macs, PCs, and LANs
• Flexible, long, and weekend hours are sometimes required
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
• Ability to think critically and work both independently and as part of an overall project team
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills conducive to driving consensus; able to effectively partner with all functions across the entire company
• A proactive, positive, can-do demeanor with the ability to drive projects to completion
